Nutrition Services

The Nutrition Services Department is committed to serving students attractive, healthy meals, and to contribute to their nutritional and educational needs by giving them the keys for lifelong healthy eating habits. We are continuously looking for ways to effectively address childhood obesity/hunger in our community by ensuring every child has access to nutritious meals throughout the school year and beyond.

Riverside Unified School District has been approved for another 4-year cycle under the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP) available to schools participating in the National School Lunch and School Breakfast Programs beginning in the 2026-2027 School Year.

Along with California’s Universal Meals Program, all enrolled students can receive a healthy breakfast and lunch meal each day at no cost at all RUSD school cafeteria sites.
