Safe Learning Zones & Immigration Information

We encourage you review the FAQs at this link. If you have questions or need support, please reach out to your school. We are here to partner with you.

Our school community includes students and families from many backgrounds, and we know that recent immigration enforcement activity in our region has raised concerns and questions for some families.

Riverside Unified School District is committed to maintaining safe, welcoming learning environments where every student can focus on learning and growth.
All RUSD campuses are designated Safe Learning Zones under Board Policy 3515.19. This policy guides how the district responds to immigration enforcement requests and reflects our commitment to protecting student safety, privacy, and access to education.

This page provides information about district policies and procedures, answers to frequently asked questions, and resources available to support students and families.

Your Right to Attend School
