We understand and respect that families in our district hold sincerely held religious beliefs that they may, from time to time, believe to be in conflict with specific instructional content within our curriculum.

If you are a parent or guardian and wish to request that your child be excused from specific lessons, assignments, or instructional topics due to a conflict with your family's religious upbringing, please use the form below.

• Review is Necessary: Submitting this form begins a careful review by the District. Excusal from the identified content is not automatic.

• Our Consideration: We review each submission on a case-by-case basis. Our determination depends on the specific religious beliefs you assert and the precise nature of the educational requirement or content.

• Finding Alternatives: We are committed to working with you. After reviewing the request, we will determine the appropriate response and consider alternative arrangements for your child where feasible.
