Mrs. Byers-Guzman | CTE Site Lead
Biomedical Sciences
Samantha Byers-Guzman has spent over five years conducting research in the fields of organic chemistry, biochemistry, and biomedical sciences. She received her B.S. in Biochemistry in 2018 from UC Riverside. She then attended UC San Diego as a Biomedical Sciences Ph.D. student. During this time, she realized that she had a passion for scientific education and transitioned out of the program with a M.S. in 2021. Following this, she obtained her M.Ed. and teaching credential from UC Riverside in 2022. She is excited to share her passion of learning and science with her students. Additionally, she is excited to integrate her past experiences in the scientific field into a meaningful and relevant classroom.

Mr. Drysol
Technical Theater &
Live Event Production
Mr. Drysol has been teaching Media for seven years at Arlington High School and last year he began a new Media program at Chemawa Middle School. He teaches the basics of videography and photography in the Media Arts Academy. Mr. Drysol earned a Bachelors in English & Creative Writing, a Masters in Education, and a Certificate in Screenwriting.

Mr. Jeffries
Game Design & Development
Mr. Jeffries has been leading the Game Design Pathway at Arlington since 2016. He has a Bachelor of Science in Geophysics and a Master’s in Business Administration.

Ms. Kilbreath
Health Careers & Patient Care
Donna Kilbreath has 14 years of Clinical Experience working as a Certified Medical Assistant in Doctor’s Offices and Clinics along with 30 plus years in Education. This includes teaching Higher Education in a college setting. She is a graduate of California Baptist University. Her Teaching Credential is from UCR in CTE Health Science and Patient Technology Specializing in Patient Care. She is married to Mr. Kilbreath, and together they have 7 grand babies. Hunter 15, Lola 10, Ben 10, Abby 11, Lyla 8, Aurora 6 and Lincoln 3. Her hobbies are gardening, cooking and spending time with her grandbabies.

Ms. Schreck
Applied Digital Media | MAA
Ms. Schreck has been a photographer for over twenty years, and a videographer for fifteen years. She's been a teacher for eleven years; thirteen if you count when she presented the star shows at RCCs planetarium to students of all ages. After getting her Bachelor's degree, she went back to school to get her teaching credential and Master's in Education, and is currently getting her Master's in creative writing.

Mrs. Tamayo
Biomedical Sciences
Cheryl Tamayo has been a Science teacher now for the past 13 years, 3 of which she's had the privilege of teaching Biomedical science. She received her Bachelors degree in 2006 from La Sierra University, and her Masters degree in 2008 from National University. For as long as she can remember, she's had a passion for helping others, and as an educator she tries to instill this same passion in her students.
