Katie Runyan is an 8th grade science teacher at Sierra Middle School. She teaches the Health Careers Academy elective in which students can explore various health career topics including CPR and First Aid Certification. If they choose to, students will transition to the Ramona High School Health Careers and Patient Care program.

Career Exploration
In his life prior to working as an educator, Paul McIntyre worked construction until a car accident helped refocus his journey and he began working his way through college at Trader Joes. He has since taught for 30 years in elementary and secondary. He has credentials for multiple subject classrooms, special education, Computer Science, and Career Technical Education as well as GATE certification. In the classroom, he values student engagement and learning through hands-on projects and career exploration research.
