Meal Program Information

All students will receive breakfast and lunch at no cost.
No application necessary.

In accordance with AB 130, California will become the first state to implement a statewide Universal Meals Program for all school children.

Beginning the 2022-2023 school year, Riverside Unified School District will be a Community Eligibility Provisions District. During this time, families will not be required to apply for the Meal Program. Households will be required to complete the School Funding Form every 4 years. Newly enrolled students to the Riverside Unified School District will be required to complete the School Funding Form at the time of registration.

We offer both an easy-to-complete online version and a printable version for your convenience.

Need an eligibility letter? Please click the link below. If the household qualifies for free or reduced lunch, a letter will be emailed to you.

Did you know?
If your household meets income requirements you may qualify for the Meal Program, also known as the National School Lunch Program, you may qualify for other programs such as Utility Assistance, SoCal Edison’s CARE, College Application Fee waivers, and SAT Fee Waivers.
