Program Description

The Adopt-A-School program is a Riverside Unified School District initiative created to provide a structured pathway for partnership between schools and community partners. This program is intended for corporate and community organizations interested in building relationships with schools to support student success. During this collaboration, partners and schools will work together to determine how to best connect partner resources and interests with the school’s unique needs. This relationship is a combined effort led by the school and community partner.

  • Review and fill out the application below to express interest and share the types of activities you might be interested in
  • Meet with RUSD District and school staff to brainstorm ideas for partnership and designate points of contact

Partner Benefits

The entire school community, especially students, benefit from the additional resources, support, and experiences offered by local partnerships. Community partners have the opportunity to have direct impact on a school community and form quality connections in the community. Engagement activities and projects are customized to meet the needs and goals of the school and the interested organization.

  • Brand your organization as involved and giving back to community
  • Volunteer activities boost employee morale
  • Projects encourage interdepartmental cooperation and draw out new skills in employees
