Transfer Process

Riverside Unified School District is committed to offering families choices that provide the best educational fit for their children. This page explains the wide variety of transfers parents may apply for if they feel a special program or school other than their child’s home school is a better fit for their child.

The 2024-25 Open Enrollment Transfer window was from November 1, 2023 to January 12, 2024 and is now closed.

 If a family moves into RUSD after the Open Enrollment Transfer window, they may submit an intra-district transfer request by visiting the Central Registration Center, located at 5700 Arlington Ave, Riverside, CA 92504
