Exploring the natural world! Fifteen students from John W. North High School participated recently in the 2024 San Bernardino Forestry Challenge, one group of a total of 102 high school students from 13 schools from the Southern California region. The event was November 13 to 16 at Hubert Eaton Scout Reservation in Cedar Glen, California.

Congratulations to RUSD’s two new Board Members, Ms. Amanda Vickers, and Dr. Jesse Tweed, as well as returning Board Member, Mr. Dale Kinnear! Additionally, Mr. Brent Lee was nominated and elected by his peers to serve as RUSD Board President. Thank you all for your dedication to our students!

8 Riverside Unified schools and 21 students were recognized as the November winners for Most Improved Chronic Absenteeism Rate, Most Improved Student Groups, and Outstanding Attendance from RUSD's Pupil Services Attendance Division and Amazon.

Twenty Five 5th and 6th-grade students from Franklin and Mark Twain elementary schools in Riverside Unified School District were gifted new bikes thanks to a generous donation from the Greater Riverside Chamber of Commerce and Jenson USA's EastHills 23rd Annual Bike Giveaway!

Castle View Elementary's Music Instructor Mr. Alex Trevino recently performed at the 25th Latin GRAMMY Awards alongside recording artists Bon Jovi, Angela Aguilar, Becky G, Luis Fonsi, DJ Khaled, and many more. Riverside Unified is proud of you and your extraordinary talent!
